Ilda Carreiro King, Ph.D. is a Developmental and Educational Psychologist who uses the lens of classroom ecology to inform improvements in reading instruction. She is known for bringing a learner-centered approach to all levels of the school community: administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Through workshops, demonstrations and observations, she develops a continuum of services, curriculum and techniques that help all types of students become fluent, strategic, and independent readers.
