Dyslexia: Curriculum Based Assessment Workshop
As we know, it is now government-mandated to screen elementary children for dyslexia. This calls upon us to understand the roles of phonemic awareness and automaticity in reading diagnosis and instruction.

The Curriculum Based Assessment model taught in this workshop allows you to focus on these important foundational skills and how these foundational reading skills in turn support phonics, spelling and high frequency word acquisition.  Please come refresh your understanding of these dimensions of reading and how to measure them within national curriculum pacing for goal and objective writing. And how to include them in daily instruction.
